Network Specialist
Prime ProData, Inc is growing, and is looking to expand its Server and Network team with an additional full-time Network Engineer. A person with experience in designing, implementing, operating, and maintaining an enterprise-class CiscoLAN, WAN, and Wireless infrastructure will fill this role. This position will give you the opportunity to research, promote, and design advanced networking solutions as technologies evolve, and to work with a close-knit team to implement projects. The ideal individual will possess a working knowledge of technologies such as EIGRP, GLBP, WEP and WPA encryption, layer 2 and 3 switching, and Windows based DNS and DHCP. Experience in designing and implementing, ASA, IPSec andSSLVPN solutions, Energywise technology, and Cisco wireless controller systems is required. The use of network management and configuration solutions, such as Solarwinds Orion and Microsoft SCOM is desired, but not required. Travel Required: light
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience working with enterprise Cisco and WindowsLANand WAN environments
- 4+ years of experience with the Cisco IOS command line
- Ability to acquire a Cisco or Microsoft certification within one year
- A demonstrated ability to design, deliver, support, and improve upon a 99.9% uptime infrastructure
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an information technology field
