The Digital Content Designer is responsible for the creation and integration of digital design assets for responsive websites, online banners, email marketing, and landing pages.
Ensures site functionality is professional and content is fresh, relevant, concise, SEO optimized, and visually compelling.
Position Scope:
  • Design includes UX analysis, wire framing, & translation of user needs into UX requirements.
  • Creation of assets including but not limited to banners, iconography, and new pages using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Utilize basic HTML, CSS, and other current technologies to promote and test changes through the workflow process.
  • Ensure that all work complies with style guides, and tests to ensure all content and functionality meet established standards and best practices.
  • Review new and existing web pages for SEO optimization opportunities (strive to improve quality score and search rankings).
  • Perform PPC campaign keyword research, ad copywriting, and provide reporting and optimization strategy recommendations based on campaign performance analysis.
  • Design and integrate creative email marketing campaigns to promote company products and services.
  • Ensure eblasts follow proper form and proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
  • Assist in maintenance of the email marketing lists within third party enterprise email tools.
  • Generate monthly reports for general site activity, page and content performance and make relevant recommendations.
  • Work with team to create assets and content for social media platforms (idea creation and execution in enhancing Social Media exposure of the company’s brand to potential & current customers and partners).
Professional Experience:
  • 2 to 4 years of related experience including web design, some development, web analytics, SEO, PPC, and eCommerce.
Technical Experience:
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver), and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Adobe Analytics (Omniture) or other enterprise level analytics experience preferred.
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other Java based Enterprise level content management system experience preferred.
  • Axure or similar wire framing/prototyping tool, building user flows and interaction requirements.
  • Proficiency testing websites, and identifying and correcting issues across platforms and browsers
  • Proficient with HTML, CSS. JavaScript, Bootstrap and/or jQuery a plus.
  • Experience designing for and implementing responsive website and email designs preferred
  • Proven experience implementing SEO techniques
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience preferred.
  • Google AdWords Professional Certification a plus
